How it works
No timers to start, no notebook in the glovebox. MileWiz keeps the log while you get on with your day.
Keep your iPhone with you. MileWiz notices when you start driving and records the route, time and distance.
Swipe a trip to business or personal. Work hours and saved places can sort regular drives for you.
Choose a date range and export a PDF or CSV for your taxes, your employer or your accountant.
Take a look inside
Real MileWiz screens with sample data. Pick a view to look inside.
Trips appear on their own, with where you started and ended, the time, the distance and what each drive is worth at your mileage rate.
New drives wait in Uncategorized with their route on a map and what they could be worth. Swipe each one to business or personal, or categorize them all at once.
Open any trip to see its route on a map, then add what an accountant will ask about later.
Name the places you visit often — home, the office, a client site — and MileWiz uses them to label and sort your trips.
Pick a date range, filter what you need and export a clean report for taxes, a reimbursement request or your own records.
Everything a mileage log needs
Drives are recorded in the background using location and Motion & Fitness. No buttons, no timers.
One swipe for business, the other for personal. Add Medical, Charity or categories of your own.
Trips during your working hours can be categorized for you, so regular days need no attention.
Name your regular stops. MileWiz uses them to label trips and sort repeat drives.
Note why you drove and who it was for, so every trip makes sense months later.
Record parking, tolls and other costs with the trip they belong to.
Keep several vehicles, each with its own odometer readings.
Standard rates for the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland and Australia are built in. Or set your own.
Export by date range, category, client tag, vehicle or place.
Open a CSV from MileIQ, Everlance, TripLog or Stride. Save a Driversnote Excel file as CSV first. MileWiz keeps the trips it can read.
Forgot your phone? Add the trip yourself with its route and details.
Your trips are backed up to your own iCloud account, ready to restore on a new iPhone.
A clean design that follows your iPhone’s appearance, day or night.
iPhone and iPad
MileWiz runs on iPad as well as iPhone, and adapts as iPhone Duo folds and unfolds — so your trips and reports always have room to breathe.
What are your miles worth?
Client visits, supply runs, the trip to the post office. Unlogged, they’re worth nothing. Logged, they can add up to a real deduction or reimbursement.
6,240 business miles a year
Illustration only, not tax advice: weekly miles × 52 × your rate. $0.76 is the US business rate built into MileWiz for trips from July 2026. What you can claim depends on your circumstances and local rules.

Yes. Add a trip you didn’t record, change its category, and add a business purpose, client tags and expenses such as parking or tolls. On the Free Driving Plan, adding trips by hand pauses once you reach the monthly limit.
Yes. Email a CSV to yourself and open the attachment in MileWiz, or open it from Files, iCloud Drive, Dropbox or Google Drive. MileWiz reads its own CSV and trip exports from MileIQ, Everlance, TripLog and Stride. Driversnote downloads Excel; save that as CSV first. The date and the distance come across. Places come across when the file has them and Apple can find them. These files do not include the driven path, so a file with addresses needs an internet connection. If one address cannot be found, that trip is skipped. If the phone is offline, a file that contains addresses is not imported. Imported trips do not use the free plan’s 20 automatic trips.
